From the very start, Urano has been committed to improving and strengthening our quality management systems based on the evolving needs of the aerospace industry.

Our well-managed operating processes standardize all the items we produce to be made to the same high-quality standard. We are also continually improving the value of our products and business with a clear understanding of our individual processes, the responsibilities of our workers, and the interaction between them. Owing to this dedication, we have developed a production system of such high standards that Urano acquired the JISQ9100 Aerospace Quality Management Standard in December 2004.

Eliminating human error

We have given ourselves the goal of eliminating production mistakes caused by human error.

To achieve this, we train our employees to be individually conscious of the production process, combined with a system with simple rules that make it easy to avoid human errors. We are also committed to reducing human errors through promoting not 5S but 2S (seiri and seiton) methodology, while making it clear that making a mistake is unacceptable.
